Conference Council on Youth Ministries - CCYM

At the fall meeting of the CCYM officers for 2008 were elected, the theme and scripture for the year was selected and plans were made for the upcoming winter retreat.

Officers for 2008 are: Jalisa Ross, Haikey Chapel UMC, Chairperson; Jacob Tsotigh III, Norman First American UMC, Vice-Chair; Kristi Baker, Kullichito UMC, Secretary; Joseph McHenry, Christ UMC, Worship Leader; Elizabeth White, DD Etchieson, Public Relations; Lancer Kernell, Billie Hooton, Represenatives to the Jurisdiction Youth Team.

 

The theme for 2008 is “Truth -Honesty - Spirit - Keeping it Real” - “We get what we say straight from God and say it as Honestly as we can.” Scripture is II Corinthians 3:16

The Winter Retreat will be held at the Northeast Region Center, December 14-15th with registration starting at 5:30 p.m., program begins
