Thomas Roughface Memorial Scholarship Pow-wow

The Thomas Roughface Memorial Scholarship pow-wow this year raised approximately $4,500 for scholarships for OIMC seminary students according to organizers.

The Memorial Dance continues to be organized by the four metro churches in the OIMC which includes Angie Smith Memorial UMC, Billy Hooton UMC, Mary Lee Clark UMC and Norman First American UMC, and this year included El Reno UMC.

Each year the churches select honorees. This years honorees were Dr. Bud Saumaunt, Angie Smith Memorial UMC; Lindy McIntosh, Mary Lee Clark UMC; Christie Kernell, Billy Hooton UMC and Lee Rhoades, Norman 1st American UMC.
