United Methodist Men

The Conference United Methodist Men is in the stages of rebirthing. An
organizational meeting was held February 9th at Norman First American. Officers were elected for the new year and they are: President - Merle Berryhill, Springfield, Northeast Region; Vice-president - Robert Greenwood, Mary Lee Clark, Central Region; Secretary - Royce Wittman, Pawnee Indian, Central Region; Treasurer, Allen Yargee, Thlopthlocco, Northeast Region.

Another meeting was held February 23rd to look at future plans for the
organization. At this meeting it was decided to meet once a quarter at different churches in the conference. The next meeting will be held May 10th at Mary Lee Clark. All men of the conference are invited to participate whether your church has an organized group or not. The United Methodist Men’s organization is celebrating their 100 years in existence this year and plans will be made for this celebration in our conference. The 10th National Gathering of United Methodist Men will be held July 10-12, 2009 at Belmont University, Nashville, Tennessee...
