OIMC Churches Continue Trend of Strong Giving

OIMC churches continue to contribute to the relief efforts to South and Southeast Asia for the Tsunami Relief. Officials with United Methodist Committee on Relief say that funds will be needed over the long-run to deal with the long term relief.

OIMC churches that gave to the Tsuami Relief since the last printing of the Advocate include Kaney Chapel, Yasho and Bokchito. Also, a correction from the last Advocate should include a $500 contribution from Mt. Scott Comanche and not Mt. Scott Kiowa UMC.

In addition, Arbeka, Canterbury Chapel, Honey Creek, Stilwell Misison, Bethel Hill, Bokchito, Kullituklo, William Anderson, Cache Creek, Hunting Horse and Little Washita have paid 100% of their 2005 Property Insurance.

Also, Arbeka, Kaney Chapel, Salt Creek, Big Lick, Bokchito, Seeley Chapel, William Anderson Memorial, Cache Creek, and Little Washita have submitted 100% of their 2005 apportionments.
