OKLAHOMA INDIAN MISSIONARY CONFERENCE

Monthly Archives: November2014

hi archyive

When you make an online donation on December 1 your gift will multiply! For one day only, on December 1, 2015 as part of UMC #GivingTuesday, gifts made to Parish Partners, Native American Children’s Fund or Church Extension, through Advance #583634 (PP), #583581 (NACF) or #583633 (CE) will be matched.* As always, when you give to us through The Advance, 100 percent of your gift directly supports our ministry; overhead costs are covered through other channels.

As we approach the holiday giving season, UMC #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of cheerful Christian giving by making a donation to the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference through The Advance. When you make an online donation on December 1 you will unite with others to maximize impact! It shows the world the transformational power that can happen in one day … when Methodists are united.

As always, when you give to us through The Advance, 100 percent of your gift directly supports our ministry; overhead costs are covered through other channels. Thank you so much for your faithful support and for multiplying your impact by making a generous gift on December 1.

Grace and peace,

* Global Ministries will allocate 2:1 “matching funds” up to the first $1 million in gifts to Advance projects received online on December 1, 2015, between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. CST. A maximum of $2,500 per individual gift to a project will be dispersed as matching funds. A project may receive a maximum of $25,000 in matching funds.

The Council on Local Church Ministries will once again be sending a youth and young adult mission team to Sager Brown  July 5-10, 2015.  For those youth that would be interested in participating, they must be in high school, grades 9 through 12, and submit an essay as to:  why they would like to participate and how they will share this experience upon their return.  This essay is to be submitted to the conference office by January 1, 2015.  The Mission Ministry Team will be meeting in January, look over the essays and select those that will participate.  Fundraising efforts will then begin to assist in the expense.
