The Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference (OIMC) hosted their annual Gala on April 16th, and the night was filled with beautiful Native American pageantry, art, music, a fashion show, live auction, and many generous hearted supporters bidding in the silent auction.
Each year the OIMC hosts the event to raise monetary support for pastoral leadership for Native American pastors who serve in the historic OIMC, a member of the United Methodist Church. Reed Conference Center, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, was the site of this year’s festive Gala.
The night started with countless donated artifacts on display for the silent auction. Following the silent auction bidding was the entertainment, fashion show, recognition of supporters, and a live auction for a painting being created on stage throughout the program by Brent Greenwood. Capped with a spectacular meal the experience made for a wonderful evening that made this Gala truly memorable and leaving those attending looking forward to next year’s Gala.
