The annual OIMC Clergy and Lay Missioner meeting will be held on January 12-13, 2024, at the Saddleback Best Western Hotel and Conference Center, 4300 SW 3rd, in Oklahoma City. We will start at 7:00 p.m. (dinner will be on your own).
The meeting starts Friday evening with opening sessions on Remembering our Baptism and our Covenant Renewal Service. Bishop Jimmy Nunn will provide a welcome message. In addition, the OIMC Trustee Chair’s will present The OIMC Exit Policy.
Saturday morning session will be led by South Central Jurisdiction Archives and History Committee Representatives: Christina Wolf and Jennifer Tahbonemah, Strategic Plan Team.
Housing will be double occupancy at the Saddleback Best Western Hotel. A rooming list will be made. If you prefer a single room, you will need to pay the difference. Rooms will be $89.99/room so you would be responsible for $45.00. OR – if you intend to bring your spouse you will need to let us know that and pay the difference, also for the cost of their lunch on Saturday (price to be determined).
This amount will need to be received in our office prior to the beginning of the session. Rooms will not be made for clergy within 25 miles. If you would like to request a certain roommate notify the OIMC office. Breakfast is included with your room.
It is a mandatory attendance but you must contact our office to ensure we have heard from everyone. Please do not wait until the last minute as the rooming list will be turned in on Friday, January 5, 2024. If you do not respond, no room will be reserved for you. In this case you will be responsible for making your own room arrangements at the hotel, at your own expense.
